Step 1: Master Data Setup in Zoho Creator

Two core forms were created:

• Labour Form → To maintain labourer details (Name, UPI ID, Work Role)
• Employees Form → Synced with Zoho People to fetch company employee data and roles

Step 2: Raising a Payment Request

Site engineers/supervisors could:

• Raise a Payment Approval Request through the Approvals Form
• Information captured included:
  • Selected labourer
  • Type of work done
  • Payment amount
  • Labourer's UPI ID

Step 3: Manager-Level Approval Workflow

Upon submission:

• Automation triggered a notification to the Manager for approval
• In the Approvals Module:
  • Managers could view pending approvals
  • Options to Approve or Reject (single/multiple records)
• If rejected:
  • Requesting employee was instantly notified

Step 4: Payment Processing by Accounts Department

After Manager approval:

• The "Proceed for Payment" button became active.
• Accounts team:
  • Clicked to trigger Razorpay’s API
  • Immediate UPI transfer initiated to the labourer’s bank account

Every successful payment:

• Automatically logged into the Payment Logs Form in Zoho Creator
• Logs captured:
